The Agrarian Coffee Cooperative Society Oro Verde is a small coffee producers’ organization joined voluntarily by common needs, as well as common economic, social and cultural aspirations, which practices a model of joint property, democratically controlled, based on cooperative principles, where all its members believe in shared ethical values.

    

It was constituted in the City of Lamas, "Peruvian Amazon’s Folklore Capital", on December 7th, 1999, as a legal person of private right of social management character.
